Hot Mix Asphalt/Raw Material Sampling and Testing performed in accordance with the Department's Manual of Testing Procedures & the American Society for Testing & Materials. All Sampling and Testing will be performed by Exprienced TAPA Level 1-A Certified Personnel. Sampling and Testing will be performed at specified intervals based on project specifications (Lots, Sub-Lots, and Small Quantities.) The technician will record production test results as obtained on TxDOT work other approved forms (Spreadsheets and Control Charts). The result of on-going production testing will be reviewed for compliance with project plans, specifications and design/operational tolerances. In addition, the technician will provide a visual inspection of the production facilities to include the verification of plant temperatures and stock pile contaminiation.
