Portland Cement Concrete and Raw Material Sampling and Testing is performed in accordance with the TXDOT's Manual of Testing Procedures and the American Concrete Institute procedures. All Sampling and Testing will be performed by experienced ACI- Field Grade I Certified Personnel. The technician will review & record batch weights and determine compliance with approved Concrete Mix Design & applicable tolerances. Sampling and Testing will be performed at specified intervals (Samples will be obtained and Tested for Slump, Air Content, Temperature and if required, Uniformity, Compressive / Flexural Strength) In addition, the technician will provide a visual inspection of the production plant to ensure that all equipment meets project specifications (chemical admix burettes, aggregate stock piles, truck mixers).
